Education Discount Eligibility

The following educational institutions are eligible to receive a 25% discount on the Press Publisher service:

  • K-12 Institutions
  • Colleges or Universities

The following education individuals are eligible to receive a 25% discount on the Press Publisher service:

  • Faculty or staff member of a public or private Higher Education Institution in the United States
  • Student currently attending or accepted into a public or private Higher Education Institution in the United States

Press Publisher Nonprofit Eligibility

Press Publisher extends special pricing for charitable organizations as defined by the United States Internal Revenue Service Code 501(c)(3). The discount is a 25% discount on all products and services provided by Press Publisher.

Examples of eligible nonprofit and charity organizations:

  • Qualified Public foundations as defined in section 509 of the Internal Revenue Code
  • Qualified 501(c)(3) non profit associations
  • Qualified 501(c)(3) museums
  • Qualified 501(c)(3) organizations that are also blood, organ, and tissue banks
  • Qualified 501 (c)(3) organizations that are also research laboratories not wholly owned and operated by an educational institution and not operated by departments of the federal government
  • Qualified 501(c)(3) ambulatory healthcare services organizations which are also Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHC) or FQHC look-alikes

Exclusions:

The following nonprofit and charity organizations are excluded from this program:

  • Private foundations as defined in section 509 of the Internal Revenue Code
  • Hospitals not wholly-owned by a university*
  • Health-care systems other than FQHCs or FQHC look-alikes
  • Research laboratories associated with the federal government*
  • Any agency or institution of the federal government (any organization listed at firstgov.gov)**
  • Political, labor, or fraternal organizations
  • Nonprofit lobbyist groups

*Hospitals wholly owned by a university are eligible for education pricing.

**Government entities are eligible for government pricing.
